Bullitt Car Chase
Quote from rvrrun on March 21, 2020, 11:39 pmThe movie is on right now and we just finished the chase scene. I counted no less than eight hubcaps flying off the Charger during it. It was nice of Dodge to option the car with a full set of spares.

Quote from rvrrun on March 22, 2020, 1:21 amThat’s the one. It recently sold for $3.4 million if memory serves.
I grew up during the gas crunch and routinely bought GM muscle cars in my teens for less then $500. I would definitely say I was a Chevy guy. Funny, now we own four fords and a mini.

Quote from rvrrun on March 22, 2020, 1:54 amExcept for the pot bellied stove and other emissions crap on the truck I’m in love with it. One of the other fords has a Chevy in it, the third gets a pass because it sits in storage all the time and the last is a Focus ST and GM doesn’t make anything that can compete with it.
My wife’s first new car was a Durango. The 360 and driveline were bullet proof, but the Daimler era electrics drove me up the wall. We had the Durango, my dad and sister had similar year dakotas (all for doors) and I must have replaced every lock actuator and window motor on each of them at least 3 times each. I think the Cummins is far and away a better engine than Chevy or ford, but those electrical gremlins kept us from looking at dodge.
