Looking for a Pontoon

If anyone is selling one or knows of one for sale let me know. It’s going in the slip so must be 25’ or under. I’m would like something newer and ready to run but I am open to older that needs work as well. I’ve been looking online and there isn’t much out there unless I travel east of Texas. I would like to limit the price for new and ready to $45k.

I just want my engine done.......I hope the extra 100-120 ponnies are worth it!

Only high dollar ones with big power on the other site.

I’ve been finding new ones for about the same price as used. There’s a 22 Bennington at Sun Country that I like except for the 115 on it. I remember them being rough idling compared to the 150.

What engine is on yours now, Andy?

502 it had almost 800 hrs on it, had detonation in two cylinders. I got lucky the block was salvaged so bored and new pistons, rods, roller rockers etc.

Brain fart for me, I knew about the 502.

I thought you were upgrading a pontoon outboard.

I'm not happy about it, but we did it.  There is nothing in stock anywhere and it's almost impossible to find a used boat.  We had one for a decent price in Arkansas but as soon as we talked it over and decided to get it, the salesman texted and said it was sold.  This one is two feet longer, has 50 more hp and the double bimini that we wanted, but it totally blew the budget.  I would have preferred a used beater to sit outside in the slip, but I like the idea of a reliable Honda on a new boat with a 10 year warranty.  They needed the 200 off this boat for another customer and ordered another for this one that will be in mid-May.

They got the new outboard in and we are on the road next week to pick it up. I’d rather not be in Havi for memorial weekend madness, but it is what it is. We were going to drive to the house, sleep, then to Tucson and back the next day but it’s a 5-6 hour drive one way from Havi. The new plan is to head strait to Tucson from SoCal, which is 7 hours, pick it up when they open and then head to Havi.

The motor didn't show up and we have everything planned to go get the boat so we switched gears a bit.  They gave us a great deal on a 245 which is the same boat but has more luxury items.  It has a 250, a full 3rd tube (with 60 gallon tank), armrests on the loungers, a raised helm, underwater lights, under deck lights, cupholder lights, a Simard GO9 instead of the GO5 and two subwoofers.  The only negative is the black.  They all have black railing so I don't think the black fence will be that big of a deal, but Havasu and black boats don't mix well.  We will see.

We were on the road at 4 a.m. and drove non stop to Tucson and then on to Havasu with the new boat arriving around 9 p.m.  It was then that we thought it would be a good idea to launch it and booze cruise around the island and the channel for a few hours. It’s in the slip and we won’t have to deal with any launch lines today.
