Not much has been happening, but I am ready for boating season.  I am going up in a week or two to see how the pontoon weathered its first winter outside.  It had the option for a live well or wash down pump but was not installed on ours. We've been using a super soaker to hose down the deck after it sits, but a pump should make that much easier.  I bought one for my wife for an xmas gift and was planning to install it under the helm and use the factory switch.  The big pain with that plan was going to be putting it on the trailer and drilling through the deck for the water pickup.  I finally came up with the idea of mounting the pump, wiring, hoses and accessories in a water tight box that can be used on any of the boats or anywhere there is water and 12v power.  I tested it the other day at the shop and it woks very well.  As an added bonus, I know have defense against the super soakers hosing down boats in the channel.
